OASIS BUSSENTO CAVES

It extends for 200 hectares.Vegetation of the gorges is characterized by the presence of musks and ferns and by shrubs of alder and willow tree. On the valley at north -west, the forest is composed by ilex, roverella, ash-tree, hornbeam, while on the opposite site the mediterranean spot predominates, composed by arborea leuforbia, mastic. In limpid waters of the river we find trouts,crayfish, crab of river and there are signs of the passage of the otter. In the forest of ilex it's possible to meet traces of mammals as porcupine, wild cat, wolf. Between the birds there are: kestrel, astore, tawny kite, royal kite, and the imperial crow.

HOW TO ARRIVE

It's situated in the locality of Morigerati (SA). By car: Motorway A3 Salerno - Reggio Calabria, exit Padula Buonabitacolo, direction Sansa and Morigerati.
