NATURAL REGIONAL RESERVE MOUNTS EREMITA-MARZANO

It extends for approximately 3.680 hectares that include one of the wilder and depopulated areas of Campania. Situated entirely in province of Salerno, to the borders with Basilicata, it's constituted by massifs without inhabited centers, entirely covered by the forests, especially beech tree, with well over a hundred years old exemplaries . Wolf , marten, badger, imperial crow are only some of the naturalistic emergencies of a territory that has still much to reveal in the field of the naturalistic exploration.

HOW TO ARRIVE

From the Motorway A3 Salerno-Reggio Calabria, exit Contursi Terme. Continue for 11 Km on the superhighway "Fondo Valle"in Lioni direction until reaching the exit for Laviano.From Avellino take the S.S.Ofantina in Lioni direction. Take the superhighway "Fondo Valle" and continue until reaching the exit for Laviano.In alternative it's possible to reach the Reserve through the Provincial road 381.The nearer railway station is Contursi Terme(SA) on theSalerno-Battipaglia-Potenza line.
