NATURAL AREA BAY OF IERANTO

The bay of Ieranto opens on the south of Sorrento coast, in front of the faraglioni in Capri. It is a place of uncontaminated beauty, abode of the sirens according to the ancient and poetic legend. Crossing the path wound in the silence of the great natural (only sea, rock-cliffs, beaches, great rocks covered by mediterranean stain and olive-trees, together to other great heaps of hard rock) spaces the whole bay can be admired in all its solemnity.The Bay is the only intact inlet on the last line of the Amalfi coast. In distance it's possible to see the faraglioni of Capri, gardens,olive-trees and mediterranean stain.

HOW TO ARRIVE

Highway Naples-Salerno (A3), exit Castellamare di Stabia, direction Sorrento-Massa Lubrense. Continue for Nerano, from here by foot (around 40 minutes) along a path of average difficulty.
By sea: from Marina del Cantone exclusively with boats authorized by the corporate body manager of the sea Park of Punta Campanella.
The access to the Bay and the landing to motor crafts of any type is absolutely forbidden .
